[LAPD DB] Vehicles

Detective Bureau has an expansive fleet of exclusive vehicles not readily available to GPU. These vehicles are to be used for detective duties and detective duties only. The fleets consists of unmarked cruisers, sports cars, SUV's, and all of the above. The use of personell vehicles is not allowed.

Unmarked Ford Crown Victoria [Premier or Elegant] - The Crown Victorias are equipped with a 3.27:1 rear axle ratio (Axle code Z5) and are electronically limited to 140 mph (225 km/h) due to critical driveline speed limitations. This vehicle is to be used by Detective First class.

Unmarked Dodge Charger [Sentinel] - This vehicle is offered to Detective 2nd class immediately after they are promoted. The Dodge Charger is more swift and quicker than the Crown Victoria. Bracing to the Charger's roof and doors, and the heavy-duty brakes and suspension are designed to withstand considerable abuse.

Ford Taurus [Sultan] - The Taurus is a high performance vehicle that may be used to apprehend wanted DB perpetrators. The vehicle does not have to be taken by ST and can be taken by a Detective 2nd class when needed. Yet, it may not be used on regular duties.

Chevrolet Suburban [FBI Rancher] - The Suburban may be used by ST when apprehended suspects or taking on search warrants. It's quick, swift, and tough due to the nature of it's duty. The Suburban has search lights which is used to assist officers inside the vehicle to search for the fugitives at nights. The vehicle weighs 2 tons and can ram through the lighter vehicles due the LAPD customized ram on the front side of it.

Confiscated Vehicles - These vehicles will be used in undercover operations and/or sting operations under DB's discretion. These vehicles are not to be taken for recreation. Most of these vehicles have been taken from drug dealers and weapon traffickers. Confiscated vehicles include many high performance vehicles, off road vehicles, performance bikes, and SUVs such as Ferrari, BMW, Kawasaki, Range Rover, and much more.
